One Fine Day.

I can't wait for the day when we're married with kids and the biggest problem of the day is, "O no, Joey put the turtle in the toilet again!" and not, "My boyfriend is addicted to porn and is guilt tripping me because I won't have sex with him."
sigh.
I know problems don't go away. They just become different ones. As our lives evolve and grow, so do the challenges that emerge to form us into stronger, better, more interesting human beings. I can't wait until we all move forward and get to have new ones. Because these ones suck ass.

Actually your boyfriend example can happen just as well with a husband you've been married to for 20 yrs. Then you get to add to it that your child just squeezed toothpaste all over the inside of your linen closet. Your problems actually don't change, they accumulate.

Good point, Tam-Bam.
I suppose the benefit is to finding out now rather than later. At the same time, I'd welcome a child who would spew toothpaste on some linens (if that's the big problem of the day).

or it's your kid with the porn problem...i'll take dating issues over worrying that my daughter wants to skank it up like Lindsay Lohan ANY DAY. being a parent seems way way way too scary.
