um, you did know that coachella was last weekend, right?
and can you believe how Of Montreal has sold out...doing commercials for Outback steakhouse? unbelievable.
Yeah- I thought that was pretty odd, too. But when we think "sellout," part of what we should consider is that- when a band is good and their music is good- infusion into popular culture is simply a positive result of the artist's good work.
Plus-
um...Did you not hear me? I DIDN'T GO. I could care less if Coachella was last week or last month- either way, I'm really bummed about everything I missed.

This post was actually done Friday, but I posted the comment later when I came across that article linked. A lot of continuity is going to be wrecked because I write far ahead of time in order to post frequently to give you something to read in your lesiure time. And it's a labour of love. OF LOVE.

well, when you title a post "Happy Weekend" and then say "I am not at Coachella" a reasonable person might assume that you've got your calendar all screwed up. and what more could you want to know than that my friend met Lily Allen while urinating publicly?
